Tile adhesive is a polymer-modified cement-based composite bonding material. Its products must comply with industry standards such as "JC/T 547-2017 Ceramic Tile Adhesives." Made by mixing quartz sand as aggregate with polymer-based adhesive powder and various additives, this adhesive boasts flexibility, which helps minimize issues like cracking, hollowing, detachment, and leakage during decoration and renovation. During application, simply add water and mix thoroughly. Its construction performance features excellent water retention, high bonding strength, and good workability. This material also exhibits outstanding properties including water resistance, temperature resistance, impermeability, and freeze-thaw resistance.

Additionally, certain products leverage carbon-footprint reduction technologies to deliver environmental benefits. This material is suitable for use on both interior and exterior substrates—including concrete, plastered surfaces, and brick walls—and can also be applied in areas subject to prolonged immersion, such as bathrooms and swimming pools.
According to the standard JC/T 547-2017 "Ceramic Tile Adhesives," tile adhesives are classified into C1 and C2 grades based on their bond strength, with C2 being the enhanced grade. To meet the needs of different types of tiles and installation requirements, a variety of product formulations have been developed, including polymer-based, conventional, heavy-duty, and specialized products featuring characteristics such as anti-slip (T), extended open time (E), and flexibility (S1/S2). Products should be stored in a dry, cool environment, and their shelf life, when unopened, typically ranges from 6 to 12 months.
