Henan Xijian New Building Materials Co., Ltd
Repair mortar
Repair mortar is a new type of inorganic mortar jointly developed and produced by our company in recent years in collaboration with doctoral researchers from Luoyang Institute of Science and Technology in Henan Province. The raw materials include ordinary silicate cement and rapid-hardening cement with early strength as the binding agents, while mine fillers are used as fine aggregates. Additives such as adhesive powder imported from Germany and admixtures supplied by Shandong Yiteng, a publicly listed company, are incorporated into the formulation. This product is odorless and non-corrosive, featuring strong adhesion, water resistance, impermeability, and low shrinkage.

Product Overview
Repair mortar is a new type of inorganic mortar jointly developed and produced by our company in recent years in collaboration with doctoral researchers from Luoyang Institute of Technology in Henan Province. The raw materials include ordinary silicate cement and rapid-hardening cement with early strength as the binding agents, while mine fillers are used as fine aggregates. Additives such as German-imported latex powder and admixtures supplied by Shandong Yiteng, a publicly listed company, are incorporated into the formulation. This product is odorless and non-corrosive, featuring strong adhesion, water resistance, impermeability, and low shrinkage.
Product Features
1. Convenient Construction: It exhibits excellent workability and ease of construction. No vibration is required during installation; simply add water on site and mix before use.
2. Early strength: Compressive strength can reach 20 MPa in just one day, significantly accelerating project progress.
3. Strong impermeability: Possesses excellent impermeability.
4. It exhibits excellent bonding performance, effectively ensuring a tight bond between the concrete repair mortar and the repair substrate.
5. High durability: The strength shows no significant change after 50 freeze–thaw cycles.
Scope of Application
It is primarily used to repair surface damage such as voids, honeycombing, cracks, spalling, and exposed reinforcement in concrete structures, thereby restoring the concrete structure’s optimal service performance. It can also serve as a leveling mortar for carbon fiber reinforcement, a high-performance masonry mortar, and a plastering and leveling protective mortar suitable for steel strand reinforcement in buildings and structures.
How to Use
1. Substrate Requirements and Treatment: The substrate surface shall be smooth, rough, clean, free of oil stains and loose dust, and free from issues such as sanding, hollowing, or cracking. Before construction, the surface should be rinsed with high‑pressure water and kept moist, but without any standing water. When applying an interface bonding agent, it may be pre‑applied as a primer.
2. Material Preparation: Weigh and set aside the powder and water according to a mass ratio of 1:0.16. Pour 90% of the required water into the powder and mix thoroughly until uniform. Then gradually add the remaining 10% of water while continuing to stir until no lumps remain. The prepared slurry must be used within 30 minutes.
3. Construction: On damp concrete substrate surfaces, the area for a single application of repair mortar should not be too large; instead, construction should be carried out in staggered strips and blocks, with each block no larger than 10 square meters. When applying in layers, the joint locations should be offset from one another.
4. After the patching mortar has been spread, it should be troweled and leveled in one go; repeated troweling is not recommended. Any air bubbles should be pierced and firmly pressed down, ensuring that the surface is dense and compact. When the finish coat on vertical or overhead surfaces exceeds 10 mm in thickness, it should be applied in layers.
Storage/Transportation
1. This product should be stored in a cool, well‑ventilated place; direct sunlight and moisture are strictly prohibited.
2. The storage environment temperature should be maintained between 5–35°C.
3. This product shall be transported in accordance with the “Rules for the Transport of Non-Hazardous Goods.”
