Introduction
Product Overview:
Zhongtai Sanbao Plaster is made primarily from high‑quality building gypsum (desulfurization gypsum), a low‑carbon, recyclable material. It is a plastering gypsum formulated through precise proportioning and mixing, incorporating fine sand/quartz sand and high‑performance admixtures.
Scope of Application:
Zhongtai Sanbao Plaster is suitable for general plastering work on interior walls and ceilings in buildings, except for indoor damp areas such as kitchens and bathrooms. The plaster is appropriate for leveling and finishing on the vast majority of substrate materials, including lightweight partition wall panels, concrete walls, aerated concrete blocks, and brick‑concrete walls. The standard application thickness for Zhongtai Sanbao Plaster ranges from 5 mm to 20 mm.
Product Features:
1. Strong adhesion, no hollowing or cracking, quick construction, cost savings, no need to wet the wall surface before construction, no curing required after construction, no maintenance needed in the later stages, and ideal for construction across multiple seasons.
2. Highly decorative: The wall surface is white, dense, dust-free, odorless, crack-free, and bonds exceptionally well with decorative materials such as putty.
3. It provides insulation and heat resistance, features breathable functionality, automatically regulates indoor humidity, and enhances the living environment.
4. It features fire‑resistance: the hardened gypsum matrix contains a large amount of crystalline water, which is released under heat to form steam, thereby preventing the spread of flames.
Construction Method:
1. Line Setting (Marking Points): Use an infrared level to determine the flatness deviations of the walls, and mark plaster points according to the bay dimensions specified in the project requirements. When marking points, it is crucial to carefully control both wall flatness and verticality.
2. Apply interface agent: After the interface agent has been applied to the wall and dried for about half an hour, you can proceed with the next construction step.
3. Apply mesh fabric: Install mesh at the junction between block walls and shear walls.
4. Skimming: The thickness of the screed marks corresponds to the thickness of the skimming layer; use an aluminum alloy rule to align the top and bottom screed points for skimming.
5. Reinforcement Repair: Inspect the reinforcement bars that require repair and address them promptly.
6. Wall Coating: Depending on the construction conditions, choose either machine spraying or manual plastering, then use a scraper to smooth and level the surface.
7. Corner Protection: Perform corner protection work at doorways, window openings, and other such areas according to project requirements.
8. Patching: Once the wall has reached initial set, neatly cut around the locations of outlets and switches, and promptly repair any areas of the wall that require patching.
9. On-site cleanup: Promptly remove any dropped mortar, packaging bags, and waste generated during construction.
Notes:
- The ideal construction temperature for plastering gypsum is between 5°C and 35°C.
- Carefully control the setting time of plaster, using up the mixture within the workable time frame. Avoid mixing excessive amounts of slurry at one time, and never add water a second time during use. Once the slurry has begun to set, it must not be diluted with water for further application. Clean hardened slurry from mixing buckets and plastering tools promptly to prevent any adverse effects on plastering quality.
- Once construction is completed, the walls should be protected from impacts and water damage, and indoor ventilation should be maintained.
- Gypsum plaster is a air-hardening plaster mortar suitable for interior wall plastering; it is not recommended for areas that are in long-term contact with water, such as kitchens and bathrooms.
- Gypsum plaster must be kept dry and free from foreign objects during transportation and storage.
